Getting Started: Google Drive

Overview

Google Drive is a file management platform that comes with every Google account. It is a shared workspace to communicate, think, and create together. It can be used as:

  • A storage for your own work
  • A shared space for your group or club to store work

Tips and Tricks

Copy Only Link: Turn a file with a Google Drive link into a copy-only version by adding “/copy” to the end of the link. Example:

Sharing settings tips:

Share your Slides, Docs or Sheets with the Share button in the top right

When submitting a challenge, make sure the link you submit is set to “viewer”
